Pop Art “Food” Display in B-UHS Library
Mrs. Heidi Thompson’s pottery students recently created a life-like food display inspired by the Pop Art Movement. For the assignment, students each created their own “food” and dish made entirely of clay. The clay creations were fired in the kiln and then painted and/or glazed to create a realistic appearance. The pottery students then voted for the top 10 dishes that were most realistic and should be on display for the entire school to enjoy. The Pop Art Food was on display in the B-UHS library through the month of November, along side the library’s collection of cookbooks.
