Students and Parents,
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Buckhannon – Upshur High School, I would like to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking forward to working with you to make this school year a success. Through our collaborative efforts we can prepare our students for a rewarding high school experience that will result in developing goals, taking on new challenges and realizing dreams. We are dedicated to helping each student reach his/her fullest potential. This will take hard work on the part of students, parents and educators alike. Success takes hard work and makes the reaching of our goals worthwhile. To do this, students, with the support of their parents, need to get actively involved in the high school experience. We must work together to make B-UHS a better place for all by caring for each other and taking pride in and responsibility for our individual and mutual growth as human beings. We will work toward fostering mutual respect and appreciation of our differences. In so doing, we will develop better citizens and productive members of our world community.
