Good evening, we have our first NTID tomorrow. Students have been given an assignment for this day by their teachers. The assignment can be found on Schoology, our school website, and many teachers had the student load the assignments to their computers. Teachers will be sending a message to students about when the assignment is due. The assignment will be graded. Students should email or call teachers if they have any questions. Stay warm and safe, we hope to see everyone soon.

Good afternoon, Reminder for parents to send in notes for any day you student did not attend school that the bus did not run. We need to code these absences correctly to avoid truancy. These days also do not count against students for the semester exam exemption. Students who have missed 9 or more days of school must take their exams. All absences count towards the 9 days whether excused or unexcused. The only exception would be for a bus not running the assigned route.

Good afternoon, Today we had a report of some bugs and mice in our school. We contacted our pest management company as required per policy and reported what was found. They are following federal guidelines for pest management in a public school. At no point did we have an infestation. The Health Department also came and checked the school and reported no infestation. The pest management company serviced the school/classrooms, extra cleaning will be completed in the classrooms where the bugs were found, and the pest management company will follow up in a few days. There are several things we can do as a school to help manage pests in the building. 1. Keep all areas clean and free of clutter. Especially cardboard and food/crumbs. 2. Leave unnecessary items at home like blankets and pillows. These items carry the bugs to and from school. 3. Report bugs seen in the school to a custodian or administrator with a description and location. All these steps will reduce the available food source, limit transfer from one place to another, and allow us to properly manage the pests in the building.
