All students and families are welcome to join us for our Navigating the Teen Years event. We will have colleges, trade schools, military, healthcare providers, FAFSA help, community partners, and much more available to assist students and provide information to help students navigate their teen years. It is March 19th 4:00 - 7:00 PM at B-UHS.

The Athletic Booster Meeting to discuss a new consolidated Athletic Booster is still taking place this afternoon @6PM in the BUHS Auditorium! Come out and be a part of the support for Athletics at BUHS!

The Spring Sports Meeting for this evening is cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Spring sports begin next Monday, March 2nd. All students must have a completed sports physical and be academically eligible to participate. Please reach out to Mr. Stacy with any questions! Thank you!

The Spring Sports Meeting for February 19th has been rescheduled to Feb. 23rd at 6:30PM in the BUHS Auditorium.

Reminder we will be holding our second quarter academic awards ceremony tomorrow, Monday, February 16th.
Students that will be recognized are:
Promise Scholars
Honor Roll
Perfect attendance
Skills USA place winners
Mrs. Board’s children’s book winners
All State Choir members
Students of the month for November, December, and January

We encourage families of these wonderful students to join us at 6:00 PM in the auditorium to help recognize their great accomplishments!

ATTENTION SENIORS
The Promise application and FAFSA must be completed by the March 1, 2026, deadline.

High school students should apply by the deadline, even if qualifying test scores or grades have not been achieved yet. Qualifying scores and grades will be linked to the application on file once received and processed.

You must create a West Virginia Student Aid Management (WVSAM) account, verify your email address, then log in to submit your Promise Scholarship application.

If you need help applying, please see a School Counselor.

Questions about Financial Aid? Need help with the FAFSA? Have you applied for the Promise Scholarship? Do you know if you qualify for the Invest Grant?

On Thursday, February 12th, B-UHS Student Services will host a financial aid representative from the WVHEPC to work with students and families from 10am-1pm on all things related to paying for higher education.

No appointments are necessary! If you have a specific time you would like to meet, please contact Student Services.

February 26th @6PM in the BUHS Auditorium there will be a meeting to discuss the creation of a consolidated Athletic Boosters for BUHS. This meeting is open to all coaches, athletes, parents and members of the community who are interested in supporting Athletics at BUHS. Please attend to learn about the purpose and proposed structure of this new booster group!
