Summer school applications are still available for any student needing to recover credits. Driver's ed is also available during summer with limited spots. Driver's ed will run June 15 - July 17 and daily attendance is required. Any day a student is absent from the program will result in a failure to complete the course.
Applications are available in the office and on the school website. All applications are due by April 10.

Grade cards are being sent home today with your student. Please make sure to check the grade cards. If your student is in jeopardy of failing a course this year, summer school applications are available in the front office. All applications are due by April 10th.
Reminder: Navigating the teen years is Thursday, March 19th 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. All students and families are invited and encouraged to participate!

SpaceTrek is an immersive, week‑long summer program designed specifically for young women entering grades 9–12 or enrolling as first‑year college students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and space exploration. The experience includes hands‑on engineering challenges, coding and satellite operations, leadership development, and direct mentoring by aerospace and technology professionals.
Please note: We expect to waive program costs and provide FULL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALL ACCEPTED PARTICIPANTS, helping ensure that financial barriers do not prevent any student from attending.

The Promise application and FAFSA must be completed by the March 1, 2026, deadline.
High school students should apply by the deadline, even if qualifying test scores or grades have not been achieved yet. Qualifying scores and grades will be linked to the application on file once received and processed.
You must create a West Virginia Student Aid Management (WVSAM) account, verify your email address, then log in to submit your Promise Scholarship application.

On Thursday, February 12th, B-UHS Student Services will host a financial aid representative from the WVHEPC to work with students and families from 10am-1pm on all things related to paying for higher education.
No appointments are necessary! If you have a specific time you would like to meet, please contact Student Services.
