Attention Families,
Tuesday, April 14th students in grades 9,10, and 11 will be taking the PSAT or SAT test. All 12th grade students will have a remote learning day on Tuesday. All work will be done through Canvas for seniors.
All students in grades 9-11 need to have their IPads with them and fully charged for the test.

Junior Students interested in Government can apply for WV Boys State and WV Girls State which will be held June 7-13, 2026. Students must have a 2.75 GPA. Please contact Ms. Aylestock if you want to attend or want more information.

A passive permission slip for CyberSkyll, our district’s online safety learning program, will be coming home with your child. This form explains the program and how it helps students build safe and healthy online habits.
If you want your child to participate and learn more about online safety, please do not return the slip.
Only return the form if you do not want your child to take part.

8 Student Survey Parental PASSIVE Consent Form In 2024, the West Virginia Legislature passed Senate Bill 466, which requires students in grades 3–12 to  receive annual instruction on safe and responsible technology use through the Safety While Accessing  Technology (SWAT) Education Program. The purpose of this program is to provide students with the  knowledge and skills needed to stay safe and make informed choices online. Today’s students navigate an increasingly digital world. By helping them understand how to engage  responsibly online, we strengthen their ability to learn, communicate, and explore safely. Working  together, our school community and families can support healthy, positive, and safe use of technology. If you have any questions about Senate Bill 466, the SWAT Program, or the instructional materials,  please do not hesitate to contact us. Good afternoon,
Summer school applications are still available for any student needing to recover credits. Driver's ed is also available during summer with limited spots. Driver's ed will run June 15 - July 17 and daily attendance is required. Any day a student is absent from the program will result in a failure to complete the course.
Applications are available in the office and on the school website. All applications are due by April 10.

SpaceTrek is an immersive, week‑long summer program designed specifically for young women entering grades 9–12 or enrolling as first‑year college students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and space exploration. The experience includes hands‑on engineering challenges, coding and satellite operations, leadership development, and direct mentoring by aerospace and technology professionals.

Please note: We expect to waive program costs and provide FULL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ALL ACCEPTED PARTICIPANTS, helping ensure that financial barriers do not prevent any student from attending.
