Our counselors, technology integration specialist and Community in Schools personnel will also be available in the common's area. The first project graduation meeting for senior parents will be Monday, September 26th at 6PM in the cafeteria. Please try to attend.

Parents of seniors, juniors, and sophomores, B-UHS class ring orders will be taken Wednesday, September 21st during lunch and after school from 3:30-5:30 in the cafeteria. B-UHS picture day for seniors in Monday, August 22, 2022. Picture day for juniors, sophomores and freshman will be Tuesday, August 23rd. Students will receive order forms today in advisory. Photos of the order form can be found on the B-UHS Facebook page also.

This is Mr. West the principal at BUHS, on behalf of our school community I want to welcome you to the 22-23 school year. We have several changes that are designed to help the learning environment. 1. To provide equal education to all we will not have a senior bell at the end of the school day. We are working with the seniors to create some other privileges for the class. 2. Students will not be allowed to wear hats in the building. This will keep things more consistent. 3. The dress code for tops requires shoulder straps to be three fingers wide and mid-drifts to be covered. Students will be asked to change, provided clothing, or can wait in ISS or the office for a change of clothes from home. 4. Shorts should have an inseam of 5 inches. Students should not wear shorty shorts. Students may be asked to change if their shorts are too short. 5. Cell phones will not be allowed on or out in the classroom. Students are provided devices to use for instruction at school. Teacher may grant an exception to this if necessary. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us make BUHS the best it can be.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. As we are preparing for the opening of school there are some errors in some of our students’ schedules. We are working to fix these errors. Students are being asked to follow the schedule they are given. We will have a process to request schedule changes and work to make sure the student has a schedule that meets the requirements for graduation and their interests. Student schedules will be available at the Open House on August 16 from 4 - 6. We will not be able to make any schedule changes during the Open House. Students will be able to follow the procedure when they are in school starting August 17.

To the class of 2022: Reminder that Senior Breakfast will be at the high school at 8:30am Friday, May, 27th. Please be on time. This is required and for seniors only. If you do not drive, a bus will be provided to take you to WVWC following breakfast. If you need transportation after practice is over, a bus will be provided to bring you back to the high school. To clarify ticket concerns: Your previous ticket requests are being honored up to 10 tickets. This is so we can accommodate everyone safely according to fire marshal code. We have 255 graduates and we need to be able to accommodate all families involved.

Summer School B-UHS 2022 Survey Summer 2022 credit recovery courses will be available in the areas of Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and Health. Physical Education and Driver Education will also be available to students this summer. Due to a house bill that passed, Students will no longer need a proof of enrollment for the DMV after June 8th.

Fred Eberle Graduation is tonight at 7pm in the B-UHS auditorium. Graduates are to be at B-UHS by 6:30 pm.

Attention Seniors: If you want a photo of you receiving your diploma, you MUST come get an envelope from Mr. Wilson and have it turned in by no later than May 25th. Otherwise your picture will not be taken on the field receiving your diploma. Also, reminder that senior breakfast and graduation practice is at 8:30 am at BUHS in the Commons area. Your iPad and charger must be turned in before this day. Tickets will be received after practice if complete.
